Hygienic Centrifugal Pumps

Maximum flow rate and hydrodynamic efficiency for low-viscosity fluids. Transfer systems fully compliant with CIP standards for milk, olive oil and beverage processes.

High Flow, Continuous Transfer

Centrifugal pumps pressurize the fluid using the centrifugal force generated by the rotation of the motor-driven impeller. It is the most ideal, long-lasting and low-cost solution for transferring low-viscosity (1-500 cP) products such as milk, juice, wine, olive oil and liquid chemicals. Offered with optimized motor powers based on your facility's pipe diameter, desired flow rate and discharge head (mWC).

Centrifugal Pump FAQ

What is the difference between open and closed impellers?

For fully liquid products like milk and water, a closed impeller is used to achieve maximum pressure (mWC). However, for fluids containing small particles such as pulpy juice or grape must, an open impeller is preferred to prevent clogging.

What does pump cavitation mean?

When there is insufficient liquid on the pump suction line or the pipe diameter is too narrow, the boiling point of the fluid drops and air bubbles form. These bubbles erode the metal when they hit the impeller blades. Our engineers eliminate this risk by selecting pumps with low NPSH values.

What should I do if the mechanical seal leaks?

In our food pumps, sealing is provided by high-tech Carbon/Silicon Carbide mechanical seals instead of braided rope packing. In case of wear, the seal kit is designed to be easily replaced at your facility within minutes.
