Olive Oil Tanks

High-quality stainless storage solutions with a zero oxidation guarantee that preserve the quality, acidity, and aroma of olive oil just like the first day.

Anti-Oxidation Engineering

Olive oil is a delicate product that begins to degrade rapidly when it comes into contact with air (oxygen) and light. Welltech® olive oil tanks are equipped with a special Nitrogen Blanketing system that evacuates the air inside. Smooth welding craftsmanship (Ra < 0.6) prevents sediment accumulation, while the specially inclined conical bottom design ensures the olive oil is stored and filtered in its purest form (without pulp).

Frequently Asked Questions

What is a nitrogen blanketing system, and why is it necessary?

Nitrogen gas pumped into the headspace of the tank completely pushes the oxygen out. This cuts off the oil's contact with air, prevents the rise in acidity (oxidation), and keeps the olive oil as fresh as the day it was pressed for months.

What is the purpose of a conical tank bottom?

As olive oil rests, a natural sediment (pulp) accumulates at the bottom. The conical bottom design allows this sediment to collect at the lowest center point, making it easy to separate from the oil via the discharge valve.
