Mobile units (Skid Systems) are portable systems where the entire machinery park (tank, pump, filter, panel) is gathered on a single stainless steel frame without requiring fixed piping or infrastructure construction. They are easily pulled from one line to another via wheels within the facility; production starts instantly simply by connecting to electricity (or air). It is the most flexible form of modular production.

Can I use the mobile unit in an ATEX (Flammable) environment?

Yes. If the product you are transferring is flammable/combustible, the wheels of the mobile unit are made of antistatic (conductive) material, and it is made 100% ATEX compliant by adding an air-operated diaphragm pump and pneumatic mixer instead of an electric motor.

What is the maximum tank volume on a skid?

In mobile units, considering the load capacity of the wheels and the operator's ability to push it with human power, tanks with a maximum volume of 1,000 Liters (1 Ton) are generally used.
